Six major USGA Championships have been held here over the years, and the term "birdie" was born at the Atlantic City Country Club to represent a score under par.

The clubhouse features a pro shop, locker rooms with showers, and restaurant/lounge that serves lunch daily and dinner menus Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
