Atlantic City Golf Course Review
Hamilton Trails is a championship length, nine-hole course that is perfect for beginners and those who simply do not have the time to play 18 holes. Tee times are not necessary so golfers can just show up and play without much of a wait, and if there is time to play 18, there are discounted replay rates. The layout is located in the heart of Atlantic County, only minutes from Atlantic City and Ocean City, and it plays through pinelands that are undisturbed by residential development.
The newly renovated clubhouse features a pro shop with golf balls and used clubs for sale, and snack shop with seating for up to 40 people. They now have a full liquor license that serves beer and wine so golfers can wind down and watch the large screen TV after a round. There is plenty of opportunity to practice at the 20 station driving range and a large putting green, and lessons are available from LPGA Class A teaching professional Cheri Cottelli.
There are three sets of tee boxes to choose from at Hamilton Trails that play to distances of 2795, 3115, and 3265 yards. This is a traditional style tree lined course with 35 sand bunkers and all nine holes feature water hazards in some form.
