Blue Heron Pines was designed by architect Stephen Kay and opened in 1993 and has been rated four 1/2 stars by Golf Digest's Places to Play. The course has been certified as an Audubon International Certified Cooperative Sanctuary and maintains a commitment to preserve balanced natural habitats that provide sanctuary for native plants and wildlife.
The clubhouse features a fully stocked pro shop, comfortable locker rooms, a lounge and Grille Room offering breakfast, lunch, dinner, and a large banquet area for outings and events. Practice facilities include a targeted grass range, short game area with sand bunker, and two putting greens - one near the first tee and one near the 10th.
